"Doctor Copper"
Metals have been essential in the development of human civilization. Metals enabled humanity to take major leaps during the Bronze and Iron Ages. In today's growing high-tech and green-tech world, humanity is entering a new metal age.
The expression "Doctor Copper" originates from copper's ability to predict the overall health of an economy. Generally, rising copper prices suggest strong copper demand and, hence, a growing global economy.
A short video explaining the investment strategy for AuAg Essential Metals.
Industrial metals, such as steel, aluminium, copper, and zinc, are essential when electrifying our society and building products such as cars, trains, and airplanes.
Tech metals, such as lithium, nickel, cobalt, and rare earth metals, have unique properties that make them indispensable in applications such as batteries, solar cells, computers, and space technology.
As the growth of our developed world accelerates, the demand for certain metals increases faster than we are able to start new mines. This, combined with the increased focus on ESG, makes investing in the best-in-class miners even more essential.
